こんにちは、Md。Aminul Islamです。ダッカ大学で「国際ビジネス」の会計学とMBAを取得しました。 BLJ Bangladesh Corporation Ltd.に入社する前は、BRAC大学の管理職に就き、約4年間勤務していました。

BRAC大学で仕事は充実したものでしたが、貧困のないバングラデシュを見たいという衝動を抑えきれず大学を去りました。「ビジネスを通じて社会問題の解決する」という高貴なビジョンを掲げる「ボーダーレスグループ」で、働きたいと思いました。社会のために何かをする大きな機会、それが2015年8月10日に入社したときです。

ボーダレスグループは価値主導型のビジネスを行い、利益の最大化のみに取り組み、株式会社ではありません。むしろ、脆弱な人々のための雇用機会を創出することによって社会問題を解決する企業です。そして「失業」こそがバングラデシュの大きな社会問題であり雇用を創出することが一番必要とされています。そういった中でボーダレスグループは、あらゆる面で社会の向上に貢献する企業ということに魅力を感じ、入社しました。

2017年に、BLJアパレル事業をマネジメントする機会を得ました。それまでは、BLJ革事業の人事および管理部門で働いていました。
当初は、アパレル事業で短期的に働くことでしたが、日が経つにつれ、社会の脆弱な女性のために働くという情熱や想いが大きくなって来ました。最終的に、女性と彼らの子供のためのアパレル事業を自ら率いることになりました。

貧弱ながらも精神的に強い女性は日本市場向けに世界に誇れるベビー用品を作っています。今後、日本だけではなく、多くの地域でも販売することを切望しています。そして私のチームを本当に誇りに思っています！

私の夢は、女性のために何千もの雇用機会を創出することです。
女性が働くことによって子供たちが適切な教育を受けることができ、社会がより良いものになり、彼らがより幸せになると信じています。

Hi everyone, this is Md. Aminul Islam, I did my Masters in Accounting and MBA in ‘International Business’ from University of Dhaka. Prior to join BLJ Bangladesh Corporation Ltd., I worked at BRAC University in a senior manager position for about four years.

I left BRAC University as I felt the urge to see the poverty free Bangladesh; I really wanted to contribute by working with a value driven organization like ‘Borderless-Japan’ that works for one noble objective ‘Removing and mitigating Social Problem’. Therefore, I believe it was a big occasion for me to do something for the society when I joined this company on August 10, 2015.

The reason why I took the opportunity to join BLJ as it is a company which works for the betterment of the society in all aspects; a company that does business which is value driven, a company that does not work for only profit maximization and take dividend. Rather, it helps to remove the social problem by creating employment opportunities for the vulnerable people. We all know that unemployment is a huge social issue in Bangladesh.
In the year 2017, I got opportunity to supervise the BLJ Apparel Project until then I was leading the HR and Admin department in BLJ leather project. Initially, my plan was to work in apparel for interim period. But as days went by my passion and dedication to work for the vulnerable women of the society grew more. Eventually, I dedicated myself completely to lead the Apparel project where our main stakeholder is women and their kids.
This vulnerable but mentally strong women make world class baby products for Japan market and we are desperately looking for to set our footsteps in other region. I am really proud of my team!

My dream is to create thousands more job opportunities for women so that they can shape their future in a better way and able to give proper education to their kids.
